Listen to the songs that impacted American music from songs of slavery ("Hoe Emma Hoe") and the hymns of the Underground Railroad ("Follow the Drinking Gourd") to the blues of Beale Street and the Anthems of the Civil Rights Movement.  In this production, actors and singers will tell the stories of famous and forgotten hymns, work songs and musical. For ages 8 and up.  Registration begins Feb. 3

A Chesterfield County and Virginia State University Black History Month program.
