Event Details

Nathan Richardson reenacts Frederick Douglass’s life as a slave, his escape to freedom and his rise as a great writer, orator, and abolitionist.  Children will hear Douglass’s “What to the Slave is the 4th of July” speech.  For grades K-12.  Registration begins Feb. 5.

A Chesterfield County and Virginia State University Black History Month program.
