Civil dialogue and active listening are critical to our coexistence in society. Learn how Joan Blades, co-founder of and Mark Meckler, co-founder of the Tea Party, used civil dialogue and active listening to get a better understanding of each other’s organizational missions and beliefs. Dr. Sylvia Gale, director of the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement at the University of Richmond, will facilitate a discussion on the importance of civil dialogue. Light refreshments will be served.  Registration begins April 13.
