New York Times bestselling author Lisa Wingate will bring her experience as an author, journalist and inspirational speaker to CCPL. Wingate, author of the bestselling book, "Before We Were Yours," will discuss her motivation behind telling "lost" stories and how they can make an impact beyond the simple act of reading. "Before We Were Yours," a fictionalized account of the true story of Georgia Tann's kidnapping and selling of children through the Tennessee Children's Home Society, was one of Publishers Weekly's longest running bestsellers of 2017. Registration is required.
