Did he ask to be a spy, or was he asked to be a spy? What would you choose? Through historical reenactment, Stephen Seals of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation tells us the story of James Armistead Lafayette, an enslaved spy during the American Revolution. The opening act features lifelong educator Thea Paul singing her original composition, "The Black History Song."
All ages. 
Registration begins Jan. 18.
A Chesterfield County and Virginia State University Black History Month Program.
