Attend a screening of "Meat the Future," a documentary about sustainably produced meat. The film follows Dr. Uma Valeti, leader of the start-up of the "cultivated" meat revolution, and his team over five years as consumers eye the imminent birth of this timely industry. After the film, a Q&A will be led by Dr. Reza Ovissipour, assistant professor in Food Safety and Cellular Agriculture and principal investigator with Future Foods Lab and Cellular Agriculture Initiative, all at Virginia Tech. Registration begins Feb. 21.
