Create a Malian mud cloth design with symbolic patterns as introduced by an Arts for Learning teaching artist. Originated by women of Mali’s Bamana culture centuries ago, the earth-dyed cloth reflects wealth, cultural status and position.
Teens (Ages 12-17).
Registration begins Jan. 20.
A Chesterfield County and Virginia State University Black History Month Program.
